InternshipI am currently employed as Food & Beverage Manager at the DoubleTree by Hilton Salt Lake City Airport. This position is fulfilling my Senior Internship requirement set forth by the University of Utah in order to graduate.
I began this process with the goals of learning as much as possible, and increasing net revenue by 5%. While difficult to measure, I truly feel that the knowledge acquired during my time at the DoubleTree will be beneficial in supporting my future career. I was unable to complete my goal of a measurable 5% increase in Food & Beverage revenue, but managed to save many hours of manager labor on a weekly basis by creating multiple Excel spreadsheets and macros that allowed for processes to be automated. |
